We’re delighted to be involved in a special online performance of the Finale from Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony.
Soloists from SANSARA join the Self-Isolation Choir and Orchestra for the Earth for this remarkable virtual production. Tune in on Saturday 10 April at 7pm for the premiere, featuring solos by Lucy Cox, Laura Baldwin, Tom Castle and our Artistic Director Tom Herring.
The nominated charity for this performance is Rewilding Europe, whose visionary conservation work has brought about a remarkable rejuvenation of the continent's landscapes and wildlife. These ecosystems, like Beethoven, are a vital part of our shared European heritage. The charity's story is one of hope and positive change worthy of Beethoven's great Ode.
We are also honoured to have the performance introduced by Christiana Figueres, architect of the Paris 2015 Agreement and Founding Partner of Global Optimism.
